An Irish Flute for Big Steps and First Tunes

A good beginner flute doesn’t just sound nice, it makes learning easier. The Cygnet’s squared ellipse embouchure, smooth tuning slide, and compact, comfortable spacing allow new players to get to their first great tone faster. And because it takes so little air to play, practicing never feels like a chore.

Plenty of Room to Grow

Many students worry about outgrowing their first flute too soon. Not here! With a built-in tuning slide, stable A440 concert pitch, beautiful range, and solid tonal projection, the Cygnet is session-capable and ready for years of progress, even as your skills evolve.

What Sets the Cygnet Sound Apart

Rosewood is known for its mellow warmth and earthy resonance. Paired with a tuning slide and cork-lined joints, it gives exactly the sound you want when exploring traditional Irish music. The Cygnet delivers that authentic tone for beginners, right from the start.

The Case That Carries You Forward

Every Cygnet includes a premium flute case, because protection matters. Currently Only Flute & Whistle Combo Option available.  Choose between the sturdy Flute & Whistle Combo Case (great for travelling with multiple instruments) or the timeless Wooden Flute Box with plush lining and secure metal fittings. Either way, you can be sure your instrument will stay safe and stylish wherever you play.

Trusted by Teachers

The Cygnet is one of few affordable flutes that is consistently recommended by Irish flute teachers. Why? It’s well built, easy to control, and doesn’t hold students back. If you’re learning on your own or guiding someone else, this is the flute that keeps things moving forward.
