Tone, Control and Confidence to Hold Your Own at Any Session

Some players believe the only next step is to go antique or boutique. But are they worth the cost, the wait, or the hassle? The Skylark was built for serious playing.

Fast action, clean tone, and reeds that respond the second you touch them. No vintage quirks, no waiting lists, no wondering if it sounds good or been set up right. This is a serious box for serious players that's ready for the session, right out of the case.

Fast, Crisp Response

The Skylark’s hand-finished ‘tipo a mano’ reeds are known for their bright, punchy tone and quick response, perfect for fast-paced reels and ornament-heavy playing. These premium reeds make every note and ornamentation ring out clearly, even in noisy sessions.

Effortless Speed and Control

With Riveted Action, the Skylark’s domed buttons are tight and responsive, giving you that springy, clean feel serious players demand. No sluggishness or sticking, just precise, effortless action that makes fast tunes feel fluid and fun.

It’s not just about power, though. The Skylark’s 7-fold leather bellows offer excellent air control, so you can phrase with precision and hit those dramatic drops without a second thought. And with smooth, domed buttons housed in felt bushings, every press feels effortless and solid.

Tone That Turns Heads

The polished metal ends don’t just look the part. They help project a strong, clear sound that holds up in crowded sessions. This is a concertina that cuts through the mix, with a tone that’s bright, rich, and full of character.

Built for Comfort

From the smooth, noise-free domed buttons to the soft, adjustable leather straps, every detail on the Skylark is designed for comfort and control. Play longer without cramping up, and find the fit that feels right, whether you’ve got large hands, small hands, or something in between.
