Description
The Regondi English Folk Concertina
“Couldn't be happier with my Regondi English concertina!" - Mike K
The Regondi Concertina is our premium, 30-button English Folk Concertina and is in the key of C.
It’s a compact, beautifully crafted instrument that can be used by players of all levels, but is particularly well suited for those at Intermediate level.
The difference between an English and the more common Anglo Concertina is that English concertinas play the same note, regardless of whether you’re pushing or pulling the bellows, whereas an Anglo plays different notes when you push, and then pull.
The Regondi now has an improved lever to bolster the traditional riveted action system, making it even more responsive.
While the classic 6-fold leather bellows provide flexibility and durability, and help to prevent side-ways flexing.
It’s built with Czech-made steel reeds which are particularly responsive and produce a strong, rich, melodic tone, with wonderful balance across the octaves.
With its quality matte black finish, this English concertina is a quality instrument at an affordable price.
Special Offer! Order today and get a FREE concertina hard case.

Rated 4.9 out of 5 stars!

Regondi English Folk Concertina
Great instrument! Coming from a 20 button Anglo, the 30 button English is an improvement for versatility. I'm still getting used to the layout but it's intuitive so with regular practice I'll get there. So for I'm very happy with the sound and quality.

Regondi English Folk Concertina
I purchased the Regondi concertina after starting to play on the Sparrow, and it was a huge step forward! The Regondi has a decidedly superior and more reliable action, soft keys, and a quick, precise response. If you want to start learning the concertina with an instrument that allows you to continue, the Regondi is the perfect choice. Thanks to McNeela for offering such a valuable instrument.
