My 8 year old granddaughter is over the moon with her very first violin. The easy string violin is a beautiful piece, and ideal for young beginners. The 1/2 violin is perfect size for my granddaughter.

Quick shipping to Maine. An excellent choice for beginner given balance of quality and cost. Nice sound. Broke a string within the first few days, but the customer service through McNeela is excellent and they made it right for me. I would give 4.75 stars, but that is not an option. Will buy from McNeela again.
