Designed for Comfort & Control

The Wave’s 16" scalloped rim hugs your arm so you can relax into every rhythm. Play longer. Strike cleaner. Feel more control with less effort.

More comfort = better sound = better playing. Simple as that.

Built for Sound. Built to Last.

A solid maple frame for strength. A leather-wrapped rim for grip and style.

And a hand-cured goatskin head that gives you sharp highs, booming lows, and that raw, real Irish tone that doesn’t quit.

Tune Fast. Play Free.

No more fiddling. No more fighting with the weather. McNeela’s 8-point hand tuning system lets you lock in your tone fast — and hold it. Rain or shine, gig or session, your sound stays solid.

Tone That Turns Heads

This bodhrán sings under the tipper. From delicate rolls to bold accents, it delivers a rich, resonant tone with fast attack and plenty of sustain. The goatskin head is carefully treated to retain natural variation and character, giving you a truly musical drum that sounds alive.

Session Confidence Included

Go in knowing you have a drum that can hold its own in any trad circle. Its deep 5.5" maple shell and vellum goatskin head deliver a round, clear sound and booming low-end power. Light textures or driving reels, this drum is ready to perform.

Made for the Journey

Whether you're just getting started or polishing advanced technique, this bodhrán won’t hold you back. It’s a versatile, responsive, and expressive drum that evolves with your playing, not one you’ll outgrow.

It’s All Here

Your new bodhrán comes with everything you need to get started: a premium padded gig bag for safe transport and storage, and lifetime access to bodhrán lessons taught by one of Ireland’s most respected percussionists, Rónán Ó Snodaigh. You’ll be playing up a storm in no time.
