One Piece Tapered Bore D Flute Tenor TB014 by Tony Dixon
I'm not enamored with this flute. The main issue is that it is too long for me to comfortably use. My 4th finger doesn't reliably reach to the last hole, so I have to use my 5th finger to cover it and keep my 4th finger above or below the flute. I was also surprised that a fingering chart was not included, I found one online, but have never bought a wind instrument that didn't include one.

One Piece Tapered Bore D Flute Tenor TB014 by Tony Dixon
I can't imagine a better D flute for the price. Dixon has nailed it. It is actually my favourite at the moment. It is very light and easy to handle, which I appreciate when playin the C. The low D pops out and sounds great. I prefer it to a much more expensive rosewood flute that I have. If you are getting into Irish Trad, I highly recommend the TB014.
